Chan Tai Heng hails from the historical city of Malacca, Malaysia where his passion and love for capturing beautiful and memorable scenes in photographs began. From people to products, he never fails to bring out the best in vibrancy and vividness imageries - be it a natural or a candid shot, still or in-action objects or even fashion photography.

Before founding LUCC STUDIO at his hometown in 2016, he was a qualified engineer with a 5-year experience in the industry and did photography work under the alias of Maverick Chan Photography. A self-taught photographer himself, he inspires to be better in what he loves to do by taking criticisms and improve by taking his client’s feedbacks of his work.

Having a 8-year experience of wedding and portrait photography under his belt - he aims to capture captivating moments of love, making visual memories of precious moments in time; further orchestrating a fairytale-like story for his audiences. He has a dedicated passion to ensuring that his customers receive a satisfying experience and service.

In 2019, he qualified as a master photographer (LMPA, UK) by the worldwide-recognised photographic organisation, Master Photographers Association (MPA) from United Kingdom.

When he’s not writing about himself in the third person, Tai Heng likes to travel around the world, going on an adventure like hiking a hill or waterfall-abseiling, and playing sports indoors. He throws a mean Windmill dance move (want to challenge him to a dance-off?) and really hates Comic Sans.
